Editorial Policy
Last updated:
Daily Well Insights is an independent wellness publication. These guidelines govern everything we publish.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team operates independently from advertising and business operations. Advertisers do not review, approve, or influence editorial content before publication. Sponsored and advertorial content is clearly labeled and is never presented as independent journalism.
Evidence standards
Health claims must be supported by credible sources: peer-reviewed journals, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, or guidance from recognized institutions such as the NIH, CDC, FDA, and major academic medical centers. We prioritize the strongest available evidence and avoid drawing causal conclusions from observational or preliminary research.
Language standards
We do not use miracle language. Words like "cure," "guaranteed," and "breakthrough" are avoided. We use calibrated language, "may help," "research suggests," "evidence is mixed", that reflects the actual state of the science.
Writers and review
Our contributors are credentialed professionals (registered dietitians, certified trainers, public health specialists) or experienced health journalists. Every article passes editorial review and fact-checking before publication. Medically sensitive topics receive additional scrutiny.
Updates and freshness
Health information changes. We periodically review and update published articles, display both published and updated dates, and replace outdated citations.
AI assistance
Our team may use software tools, including AI, for research and drafting support. Every published article is reviewed, edited, fact-checked, and approved by a human editor who is accountable for its accuracy.
