Fact-Checking Policy
Last updated:
Accuracy is the foundation of reader trust. Every Daily Well Insights article is fact-checked before publication.
What we check
Every factual claim is verified against its cited source. Statistics are traced to the original study rather than press releases or secondary coverage. Dosages, numbers, and units are double-checked. Study types are matched to the strength of the claims they support.
Our source hierarchy
We rank evidence in this order: systematic reviews and meta-analyses; randomized controlled trials; large cohort studies; expert consensus statements; observational and preliminary research (always identified as such). Lifestyle blogs and commercial websites are not acceptable sources for health claims.
Who checks
Fact-checking is performed by an editor who did not write the piece. For medically sensitive topics, articles receive additional review before publication.
Report an error
If you believe we've published something inaccurate, email corrections@dailywellinsights.com. We investigate every report. See our Corrections Policy for how fixes are handled.
